Newborn receiving Reiki
Reiki  is finding its way into hospitals across the United States and is well received  by patients, family and staff. But the hospitals offering Reiki to babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) are few. Many of the infants are on life support and the  facilities do not offer a Reiki program or Reiki is restricted by policy. As a  Reiki Master, I am grateful for the gift of distant Reiki.

Reiki energy brings a profound sense of relaxation and peace to these preemie  babies, especially to the ones who are too fragile to be held and the ones  on life support. Being able to stand at the side of an incubator and  send Reiki is a true gift for the baby, the practitioner and the family. Beyond what the medical team is doing, I can think of nothing better for these premature babies then to wrap them in a steady flow of Reiki energy and this can be done easily, for all babies, through distant Reiki.  Special prices are being offered now. See Reiki discounts.

There is a feeling of helplessness when a baby is born early or has medical complications because there is so little anyone can do. Some parents are unable to hold their baby for several  weeks and can only touch the baby, occasionally. Family and friends want to help but there isn’t much one can do when a preemie is in the NICU. So they wait and many who never pray, pray. But there is something else, something very healing that can be done, Reiki.

Reiki brings healing energy, relaxation and a sense of peace to the preemies and to their parents. It is a perfect complementary treatment to help these NICU babies grow and to help their lungs finish developing normally. If Reiki is not offered in your hospital, distant Reiki is a perfect option. Reiki is not confined by time or distance or space. It is as effective from a thousand  miles away as it is at bedside. It can be sent to a situation that has not occurred yet, like a surgery or procedure a baby might be having scheduled.

For some, it helps to think of distant Reiki almost like prayer, in the sense that you can ask for something ahead of time. But it is not prayer; in fact, it has no religious or faith base. It is simply universal life energy available to all of us through training and attunements. It is an energy that increases our flow of life energy putting our body in a place where it can best heal itself. It is an energy that has found its place within the traditional medical system.

Reiki  is a journey into calm tranquility. It is extremely well-appreciated by those who are chronically ill or hospitalized. Preemie babies in the NICU as well as  hospice patients seem to thrive on the peace and relaxation that comes with Reiki therapy...
Consider  a gift of Reiki.  All  babies who receive distant Reiki from me, have their names put into my baby crystal grid for thirty days. The grid receives Reiki daily for a continuous  flow of healing energy. I have a similar grid for  adults.

For a list of hospitals that do offer Reiki, see the
Reiki in Hospitals website. As administrator of this website I am continuously looking for hospitals that do offer Reiki to their patients. If you know of a facility that offers Reiki that is not on this list of hospitals, I would appreciate you letting me know.  Please send the name of the hospital as well as the contact person's name or email address through my Life Solutions email. Your assist is appreciated.
